I made this yesterday and it turned out really good! Definitely recommend it if you haven't tried it. Super easy to make!

I generally followed this recipe with 1 change. I used half the amount of sugar as the black currant juice was already so sweet.

So, in a nutshell this is how it goes:

Mix your water and whatever flavor of juice you want to use together to equal 1 liter. I used 700ml of water and 300ml of black currant juice.

Put that in a metal pot on the stove and start to heat it up to a boil. When it's just getting warm, mix in the sugar (I used .5 dl) and stir it until dissolved.

Let that come to a rolling boil and then slowly mix in the manna. Put heat on a low boil and cover for ~ 10 - 15 minutes or until the mixture is really thick.

Take off the heat and let cool. It should cool to a gel like consistency (you could turn the pot upside down and it wouldn't fall out)

Then take out your electric mixer and mix at a high speed until it turns into a nice cream. That's it.

Put in a bowl and top with cream and fresh berries or just pour milk on top (that's what we did).

Serve and enjoy!
