Estonia currently uses the Kroon (EEK) as it's official currency. Eventually, Estonia hopes to adopt the Euro, but Estonia is unable to meet the inflation requirement needed to adopt it at this time. Target date for the introduction of the Euro is somewhere around 2011-2012.

In Tallinn you can exchange cash at banks, the bigger hotels, the shopping malls and at exchange booths in and around the Old Town.

ATM's are widely available all over the country and most places accept credit/debit cards.
